Before the thanksgiving holiday, I linked to an article about problems in the church.

The article listed some characteristics of working christian movements:

• sacrificial
• incarnational
• intimate
• evangelical
• demand high commitment

Since I've been needing a conscientious writing project here, I'll be writing about these characteristics over the next few weeks: what it would look like in the modern church, how we can get the church to that point, and what we as individual believers can do to embody these qualities in the church.
